Wurstkronen werden heute nur noch selten verwendet. Im 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert wurden hölzerne oder metallene Wurstkronen an der Decke der Vorratskammercite-ref-meier-2-1[2] oder im Rauchfangcite-ref-sch-nfeldt-4-1[4] aufgehängt.
